Romanian Unification Day celebrated in Belgrade’s White Palace

On Tuesday, 29 November 2022, at the White Palace, the Embassy of Romania celebrated its national holiday, the Day of Romanian Unification.

It is celebrated in memory of December 1, 1918, when Transylvania was united with the Kingdom of Romania, and Bessarabia and Bukovina were returned to their borders. This fulfilled the centuries-old dream of uniting all Romanians into one state.
