“Arabic Day in Serbia” at the National Library

The “Arabic Day in Serbia” event was held at the National Library of Serbia organized by the Arab Cultural Center and the Group of Arab Ambassadors in Serbia.

Within the framework of the cultural and artistic program, the culture and tradition of the 11 Arab countries, which are organizers of the manifestation – Morocco, Algeria, Libya, Tunisia, Egypt, Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, Palestine, Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates, are presented.

Ambassador of Palestine in Serbia Mohammed Nabhan pointed out that the relations between Serbia and Arab countries have a long tradition that dates back to the 13th century when, as he said, St. Sava was in Palestine.

Nabhan said that the goal of the event was to point out the possibility of strengthening Serbia’s cooperation with the region, which, as he pointed out, is located between the three continents – Asia, Africa and Europe, in which more civilizations and religions were created.

After the performance of the children’s choir of the Libyan Arab School in Belgrade, a film about countries was organized by the organizers of the “Arab Day in Serbia”.
