International Conference UPGRADE IN BELGRADE 2018 on November 15th

For 17th year in a row Serbian Stock Exchange – BELEX will organize its’ annual International Conference UPGRADE IN BELGRADE 2018 on November 15th, in Belgrade. As an already broadly recognized and pivotal regional gathering of financial experts this year’s Conference will focus on topics directly affecting development of the capital market and potential benefits of strengthening domestic economy, achievable through the capital market.

The presence of more than 300 participants is expected on this event, including representatives of Serbian state institutions, international organizations, local and regional investment companies, banks and major businesses, regional and international capital market institutions, vendors, IT companies, etc.  The program of the Panel part of the Conference includes following topics:

  • Macroeconomic Prospects – where individuals who can provide expert review of the current macroeconomic moment will offer their own opinion and models for finding short-term and long-term solutions to the key challenges faced by our country and the countries in the region.
  • Technology impact on funding access – where we shall try to consider efficient possibility of use of innovative technologies in finding new ways of financing both startups and large companies and projects.
  • The future of regional capital markets – in which local capital markets will be viewed as a single entity, with the aim to try to overcome common challenges and improve regional cooperation

The Conference will also present special lecture about current cryptocurrency trading breakthroughs, from representative of Thomson Reuters as well as Serbia IPO Go! Project aimed at enabling Serbian private companies to reach funding via local stock market.

Alongside the Conference, the 7th Regional Investors Conference will be organized in the form of direct B2B meetings between the management of the best shareholding companies from Serbia and the region, on one side, and institutional investors who manage assets of over EUR 100 billion, on the other side.
