Granted Sakura scholarships

JTI and Embassy of Japan are awarded for the eighth year in a row, the fifth Scholarship for students and researchers from Serbia for the best ideas for researchers in Japan.

Sakura scholarship was launched in 2011 with the aim of encouraging creative and smart people, economic, social and political advances in the future to explore Japan and Japanese good practices and thus contribute to the development of Serbia and the strengthening of friendly relations between the two countries.

The Sakura Scholarship Contest is for students or researchers who are not permanently employed, for a good research idea in one of several areas: from Japanese, through literature and culture, social and technical sciences, to economics and Kaizen philosophy. The Sakura scholarship was named for the tree of the Japanese cherry, known as the symbol of happiness and prosperity.
